PRICING FRAMEWORK

Pricing at No Masters Music reflects scope, complexity, and responsibility, not genre, profile, or perceived status.

This page exists to clarify how rates are structured, what affects cost, and where boundaries are intentionally enforced—before a project begins.

HOW PRICING IS DETERMINED

All pricing is deliverable-based.

Rates vary according to the demands placed on the system, including:
• Track count, asset count, or finished minutes
• Density and technical complexity
• Revision depth and review cycles
• Delivery and handoff requirements (post, broadcast, interactive media)
• Documentation, alternates, and delivery formats

The underlying workflow does not change.
Only scope does.

PRICE RANGES (REFERENCE)

The following ranges reflect typical project scope.

Mixing

$400–$900 USD / €415–€830 EUR per song

Mastering

$120–$200 USD / €110–€185 EUR per track

Post-Production

$40–$80 USD / €42–€75 EUR per finished minute

Sound Design & Scoring (Music, Media & Games)

$350–$1,300 USD / €325–€1,200 EUR per package

Final pricing is confirmed once scope is defined.

WHAT INCREASES COST

The following factors typically move a project toward the upper end of a range:
• High track or asset counts
• Dense arrangements or layered sound design
• Extensive automation or variation systems
• Multiple delivery formats or platform specifications
• Increased revision depth
• Tight or compressed timelines

These factors increase workload, not difficulty.

WHAT DOES NOT AFFECT PRICING

The following do not influence rates:
• Genre
• Artist profile or following
• Label size
• Aesthetic preference
• “Exposure” or speculative upside

Pricing reflects work performed, not perceived value.

SCOPE & REVISION BOUNDARIES

All projects operate within defined boundaries:
• Scope is confirmed before work begins
• Revision limits are explicit
• Changes outside scope require re-assessment
• Additional work is quoted before execution

These boundaries exist to protect outcomes and timelines.

RETAINERS & LONG-TERM ENGAGEMENTS

Retainers are appropriate when:
• Ongoing support is required
• Priority access is needed
• Work spans multiple releases or deliverables

Retainers are deliverable-based, not on-call, and are scoped per engagement.

Custom quotes apply.

WHAT IS NOT SUPPORTED

To maintain reliability and consistency:
• Speculative or unpaid work
• Undefined or shifting scope
• Emergency timelines without prior agreement

These exclusions are structural, not personal.

CURRENCY & BILLING
• Rates are quoted in USD or EUR, depending on client location
• International invoicing is supported
• Payment terms are defined during scope confirmation

Pricing exists to make collaboration predictable.

Clarity at this stage allows the work itself to remain focused.
